Mississippi Valley Christian School has been operating since 1974 and ministers to children in Kindergarten (4 & 5 years old) through 12th grade.

Mississippi Valley offers quality education at an affordable price.  It is our purpose to provide an environment for learning that first protects our children from the amoral and anti-God influences of secular humanism and second prepares them for influencing that world for God.  Our curriculum includes the same scope and sequence of other schools, but presents all subject matter from a Biblical perspective.

MVCS offers an opportunity for students to develop musical talent and athletic skills in addition to their regular academic preparation.  Students have opportunities for band, choir, typing, computers, and home economics.  Our sports program offers boys soccer and girls volleyball during the autumn as well as boys basketball, girls basketball, and girls cheerleading during the winter months.

Academics, music, and sports all work together for a good program when properly balanced.  It is the primary goal of this school to see our students develop strong Christian character, being ready to face the pressures of the world, and do right for God’s glory.
